Sanctity of life the pre-eminent issue of election 2023!

Media Release 28 September 2023

Will we in the coming election choose a government that continues to manifest the continuation of a culture of death. A culture that murders defenceless unborn children and the vulnerable. A culture that makes war on men, women and the family. Or will we choose to vote for politicians who espouse a culture of life, for those who recognise the sanctity of every human life from conception until natural death and for those who choose to uphold the traditional family of exclusively one man and one woman?

We should hearken to the words of our Creator given to us in the Bible in Deuteronomy 30:19-20.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days".

Right to Life believes that any person who votes for a candidate in the coming election to Parliament, knowing that they support the killing of the unborn and the vulnerable in society, would be morally complicit in the murder of the innocent.

Every child is a unique and unrepeatable miracle of God’s loving creation. At conception the child is endowed by its Creator with an inalienable right to life.

The notorious Russian mass murderer, Joseph Stalin said “One death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.”

The media in New Zealand are grief stricken at the tragic mistaken killing by the local authority of a pet dog in Gisborne. The response of the media to the state funded murder of 12,000 unborn children every year is treated with a deafening silence.

If we continue to reject life and God’s blessing,we inflict God’s curse on ourselves and our nation.

The hidden advocates for the culture of death have, with the support of the media, deceived the community into believing that the issues for this election are cost of living, housing, health, education and climate change. This is an organised distraction; the real issue is the defence of the right to life.

These issues are very important and must be addressed if we wish to have a just society. Justice begins in the womb.

If we continue to accept the unjust state funded murder of the innocent unborn, its violence against women, and state funded euthanasia for the elderly and the vulnerable, disguised as health care, we will have an increasingly violent society with social dysfunction.

Smiling photo opportunities with the Prime Minister preparing school lunches and enjoying sausage sizzles will not hide the legacy of the more than 70,000 murdered children, poisoned, sucked from their mother’s womb, or painfully dismembered, all authorised and funded by this Labour government since 2017.

The child has been given a mission by its Creator to love, to be loved and to be a blessing for our nation. They are destined to be the parents of the next generation.

Those who are prepared to kill the unborn and the vulnerable in society should not be trusted to govern the born.

Right to Life encourages voters to be a voice for the voiceless and to ensure that they vote only for candidates and political parties who are prepared to protect every human being from conception to nation.
