Government’s chemical warfare against unborn children

Updated: Feb 17

Media Release 28 January 2023

The government of Chris Hipkins is continuing the war against women and their unborn.

Right to Life requests the pharmacists in New Zealand to refuse on conscience grounds to co-operate in dispensing lethal drugs for the violent killing of the unborn by poisoning in their first ten weeks of life or referring the patient to another pharmacist who is prepared to cooperate in the killing of the child.

Right to Life believes that it is abhorrent that pharmacists should dispense lethal drugs to kill an unborn child. Pharmacists should dispense only drugs that protect life and promote health. It is deplorable that pharmacists are also required to lie to women that once they have taken Mifepristone, the first pill, that they cannot stop the abortion and be treated with Progesterone in accordance with the abortion pill reversal protocol which has saved internationally the lives of more than 4,000 unborn children.

The government is encouraging all pharmacists to collude in the killing of innocent and defenceless unborn children by dispensing prescriptions of the lethal drugs Mifepristone and Misoprostol for early medical abortions [EMA].

There were 4,774 early medical abortions reported in 2020, which was 36% of the 13 257 abortions performed in 2020.

From the 1 November 2022, Mifepristone RU 486, the lethal drug used to kill unborn children in their first ten weeks of life, became available to all pharmacists as a subsidised drug on prescription. Up until 1 November, subsidies for mifepristone have been limited to authorised prescribers through a practitioner’s supply order (PSO).
