Abortion a major cause of death in New Zealand!

More human beings died from abortions in New Zealand in 2024 than from  any other cause of death.

Right to Life is appalled that death by abortion is the major cause of death in New Zealand. In 2024 there were a total of 37,782 recorded deaths in New Zealand. The number of  deaths caused by abortion in 2024 totalled 17,785. Nearly one in five healthy children in normal pregnancies are murdered before they are born, a grievous offence to God their creator, a violation of human rights and a crime against humanity.

A total of 11,892 of these deaths were by poisoning within the first ten weeks of the child’s life. Scraping the child from its mother’s womb and dismemberment were the cause of death for the remaining 5,693 unborn children.

The government justifies the murder of unborn children by refusing to accept the biological truth that human life begins at conception, and that every unborn child is a unique and unrepeatable miracle of God’s loving creation endowed at conception with an inalienable right to life.

The Prime Minister, Christopher Luxon, correctly condemns abortion as murder, however Right to Life believes that to avoid jeopardising his position as leader, he is prepared to accept the continuing murder of our precious children under the pretext that it is a health service. The Right Hon. Christopher Hipkins, Leader of the Opposition, supports the Abortion Legislation Act 2020, which effectively allows abortion on demand up to birth. Right to Life believes that those who are not prepared to protect the lives of our unborn are not worthy to govern the born.  

Nazi Germany sought to justify the killing of Jews during the second world war, by claiming that they were not human beings and had no right to life. The Nazi final solution to the Jewish question was the poisoning of Jews by gassing them to death in extermination camps.

Right to Life believes that the government is following the example of Nazi Germany, by claiming that they now have the final solution for disposing of unwanted babies, by poisoning them with the lethal drug Mifepristone during the first ten weeks of the life of the child.

The abortion holocaust is the systematic state-sponsored persecution and murder of innocent and defenceless unborn children and the grievous wounding of their mothers.

The government employs deliberately deceptive language to shroud genocidal operations, and bureaucratic and chemical terms to hide the true nature of the killing of the children.  The killing is called “abortion care” and “a reproductive health service”. The child is called “the contents of the uterus” and “the fruits of conception”. The dismembered body of the child is classified as medical waste to be incinerated and disposed of at the incinerator. 

Right to Life is committed to opposing the culture of death that threatens the lives of our precious unborn to ensure that abortion is not only unlawful but unthinkable.
