Media Release Wed May 7th 2025
This dangerous treaty is promoted under the guise of promoting health; Right to Life believes that its hidden objective is population control.
The WHO can declare a global health emergency whenever it chooses.
Our government would be legally obligated to follow WHO mandates.
Lockdowns, vaccine requirements, censorship, and surveillance—everything we endured during COVID—would return, backed by international law.
Anyone who dares question the official WHO narrative could be silenced.
The WHO would have direct access to our country's resources and emergency response plans—with zero democratic oversight.
Right to Life believes that we cannot trust WHO. This is the organisation that, in our view, grossly mishandled the recent Covid-19 pandemic with compulsory vaccination, closed borders and lockdowns that inflicted intolerable harm and damage to our communities, families, businesses, school children and individuals.
The United States previously contributed $930 million annually to WHO. The US administration in January withdrew from WHO because of its mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic and because of its refusal to hold the Wuhan lab in China responsible for the development of the Covid-19 virus. Argentina has also withdrawn from WHO, and Israel and Italy are also considering withdrawal.
The government should not sign this dangerous binding treaty that would undermine our nation’s sovereign right to make decisions about our nation’s health. It would also violate the human right enshrined in the New Zealand Bill of Rights for health consumers to refuse medical treatment, including vaccination. Unbelievably, the NZ government is still recommending people get the Covid-19 vaccine, even after it has been proven to be dangerous and ineffective.
Right to Life supports international cooperation in promoting the good health of humanity; however, this binding treaty is an unprecedented attempt to impose the authority of an unelected body to lock us into a global system of mandates, censorship and tyrannical control.
With such a watershed implication for New Zealand's sovereignty, why has the media remained virtually silent on such an important issue?
Right to Life requests that the government not sign this treaty and should withdraw membership from WHO. Right to Life is very concerned that Simone Brown is currently on his way to Europe to further approve New Zealand (already a signatory to this dangerous treaty). If this treaty is not stopped, it is likely to come into effect with the final signing by around 194 member nations this coming December.
