Dear Friends of Life,
Right to Life mourns the passing of Peter Menzies, a valiant defender of life and a faithful friend of our society.
Peter departed this life on Wednesday 10th September 2025, at the age of 88.
Peter had 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Peter has been most generous in his financial support of our society and the pro-life movement in New Zealand.
Right to Life is most grateful to God for the gift of Peter’s life, and for his outstanding Christian witness, in promoting a culture of life and opposing a culture of death.
We pray for the happy repose of his generous soul, and God’s consolation for his grieving family and many friends. May God have mercy on him and grant him eternal rest.
We are confident that Peter will be joyfully welcomed into heaven by choirs of unborn children, overjoyed to be reunited with their courageous champion.
Right to Life is committed to sustain Peter’s legacy, by continuing to work for the day when the right to life of God’s precious infants will be legally protected in New Zealand, from the moment of conception, and that their mothers will be protected from the violence of abortion.
Yours in life,
Ken Orr,
Secretary,
Right to Life New Zealand Inc.
